Being established in 1918 under French government and reopened in 1945 under revolutionary government of President Ho Chi Minh, University of Transport and Communications (UTC) is considered the oldest technical university in transport and communications field in Vietnam. Visa Process 1. You should book the hotel and ask the hotel to help get the confirmation from the Ward Committee related to your quarantine plan.

For the quarantine plan, you should book a hotel according to the list of hotel stated in the following link:

In order to receive this approval, you need to send us the quarantine plan and international health insurance which covers the cost of covid treatment.
Then, you request the hotel to help get the confirmation from the Ward in which the hotel is located. You should also ask the hotel to support local transportation from the airport to the hotel.
It will be faster and easier if you are supported by a travel agency.
In case you have a vaccination certificate, the quarantine time will decrease to 7 days.

2. Upon receiving this document, our office will submit necessary documents to the Hanoi Department of Health to get its approval on your arrival.

3. Upon receiving the approval of the Hanoi Department of Health, we will submit all documents to the Immigration Department for your visa.
