List of study programs that are open for international exchanges

Content This program is conducted by the International Student Center of Kagawa University. It is a one-semester program that is conducted twice in an academic year. The program primarily targets undergraduate students. Japanese Language requirement is not necessary. Students with entry level Japanese Language shall take classes in the Japanese Language. Students with upper intermediate language ability may take classes conducted in Japanese Language, along side with local Japanese students. All students in the program take 'common' classes that focus on Japanese culture and affairs. This program was launched in 2015, and has hosted students from numerous countries and territories.

Potential candidates need to be conversant in either Japanese or English Language. (Interview through Skype shall be conducted to verify conversation skills.)

Ideally, students need to be able to understand English and/or Japanese to follow the classes on Japanese culture and affairs. Students with entry level Japanese Language ability shall take introductory classes in the language. Students with at least N2 level in the Japanese Language Ability Test may choose to take 'normal' classes that are conducted for local Japanese students.

Scholarship information
Depending on the circumstance (year and budget), scholarships may be available for certain selected students. These scholarships may come from the Kagawa University International Foundation, or from Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO). When appropriate, KUIO shall inform the parties concerned. However, students will only know if they can obtain the scholarship after arriving at Kagawa University.
