Host Institution

Established in 1919 as an Advanced Academy of Agronomy and Forestry, National Chung Hsing University (NCHU) has transformed into a comprehensive university in Central Taiwan. NCHU consists of nine colleges (Liberal Arts, Agriculture and Natural Resources, Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, Management, Law and Politics, and Electrical Engineering & Computer Science), seven research centers, four experimental forest stations, a veterinary medical teaching hospital, and two agricultural and husbandry experimental farms.

Content The student exchange program is designed to facilitate international cooperation and exchange with partner institutions of NCHU.

Program for Academic Exchange (PAX):
This program offers incoming exchange student diverse courses taught in Chinese or English in the College of Liberal Arts, Agriculture and Natural Resources, Engineering, Veterinary Medicine, Management, Law and Politics, Life Sciences, Science and Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

Lab Exchange:
This program offers incoming exchange student the opportunity to do research in the lab under the professors' instruction. We offer labs related to many fields of study.
